Additionally, our follow-up inspection services meet the USCG's requirements for audits conducted by the competent authority of the manufacturer's quality control system to ensure continuous compliance with category approval conditions.

USCG is the regulatory authority for the United States, an IMO member state, responsible for issuing domestic and international (IMO) type approvals and case-by-case approvals for products intended for commercial vessels. Fire test:

NormalTCI possesses the professional knowledge and testing equipment to meet your fire testing needs. We are capable of conducting large-scale fire testing, medium or small-scale material flammability testing, or customized design testing for research and development purposes. NormalTCI can assist you in achieving your testing and certification goals.

Fire resistance test:

Our fire testing equipment includes full-size, medium-size, and small-size combustion chambers. We possess the equipment you need to demonstrate that your products meet the fire protection requirements of the shipping industry. Our comprehensive testing equipment enables us to test products and accessories including bulkheads, decks, linings, doors, windows, dampers, penetrations, and glass fiber reinforced gratings. We can conduct tests according to standard time-temperature curves or high-rise time-temperature curves classified by hydrocarbon fires. Additionally, we have jet fire testing equipment to demonstrate the resistance of passive fire protection products to jet fires.

Material flammability test:

Our flammability testing equipment for materials includes a tubular combustion chamber for non-flammability testing, a Lateral Ignition and Flame Spread Test (LIFT) device for flammability testing, a smoke chamber and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer for smoke and toxicity testing, a cone calorimeter, a corner test equipment, a soft furniture test device, a device for testing bedding components, a device for testing lateral support textiles and films, and a Steiner tunnel for testing flame spread and smoke generation.

Customized design testing:

NormalTCI can offer customized design tests for research and development purposes. These tests can encompass full-size, medium-size, or small-size tests.
